The Magic of Editing . . .

Clients often ask me why they can’t view their images straightaway, and the answer to this question is simple – the images aren’t complete until they have been through the editing process. Only part of the magic happens in the studio or on location. The rest happens when I am at my desk tweaking and playing with the image within various software programs.

This before and after shot is a prime example as although the little girl is stunningly beautiful and I just love her expression, the levels, curves and colours weren’t quite how I wanted them. The power of digital photography is immense . . .this just scrapes the surface.
