Baby’s and Children’s Photography encompasses a huge range of portraiture, and it is all very personal to the individual. With the exception of the Newborn Shoot, most Shoots for Babies and Children start at just £85 for a 2 hour Session.
Following the Newborn Photo-shoot, the next stage of your baby’s life I recommend to capture in the studio is a Sitting Shoot, usually around 7- 8 months At this age babies are full of personality and smiles and able to support themselves independently. This is the perfect time to bring in extended family and any pets.
The 1st birthday is another milestone you will want to record and we can use balloons, bunting and other personal props and accessories. Alternatively, just a Family Shoot might be what you are after.
In addition to the stand-alone shoots, I do offer a ‘Stepping Stones‘ package which entitles you to three shoots over a 12 month period and is the perfect way to capture your baby’s first year. This package includes up to 7 hours shoot time over three shoots within a 12 month period; either A Maternity Shoot, Newborn shoot and Family shoot at 8 months, or A Newborn Shoot, Family shoot at 8 months and 1st Birthday shoot.
The ‘Stepping Stones’ package is just £255 (saving £50) and also includes a free 5″x7″ print from each shoot.
This package is very popular as a New Baby Gift or a present for a Christening and will come with a customised Gift Voucher .
As your toddler grows into early childhood he or she will learn to follow directions and this makes for a calmer, more controlled shoot most of the time! This is a nice time to think about theming a shoot to suit your child’s personality and maybe to incorporate some more artistic elements such as hobbies and sports interests.
Each shoot will be designed between us to ensure we create your dream image and with Baby’s and Children’s photography it’s mostly about them having fun with me in the studio whilst we work together to achieve this.

Step 1: Secure your Date
Baby/Child Portrait Session – 2 hour shoot at home and / or on location.
- £85 Monday – Friday
- £120 Saturdays
This fee secures your date in my diary and is payable on booking.
Following your Shoot I will edit the images and prepare them for viewing in a Gallery which I will bring to share with you 7-10 days later.
Step 2: Choose your Collection
Once you have seen your images, select from the following three Collections:
Collection 1 -£650
- ALL images as digital downloads
- Plus 3 of your Favourites as a Framed Pro-Lab Collection for your wall (1 x Large Framed Print, 2 x Medium Framed Prints)
Collection 2 -£500
- ALL images as digital downloads
- Plus 10 of your Favourites as Unframed Pro-Lab Prints (5 x Large Prints, 5 x Medium Prints)
Collection 3- £350
- 10 images as digital downloads
- Plus matching Pro-Lab Medium Prints
Medium Prints are 7″x5″ and Large are 10″x8″
